Fat Fables Community Workshop & Meal

Fat Fables will host a day-long workshop followed by a community meal on August 6, 2026, at Daniels Spectrum.

This will be the Tenth year of partnering with SummerWorks. As an organization at the forefront of contemporary performance in Canada, SummerWorks is dedicated to expanding the possibilities of performance. We collaborate with both emerging and established artists to nurture artistic innovation and explore new directions in form and expression. Our work reflects the diversity and complexity of our society, and we are committed to cultivating practices that foster greater diversity, accessibility, equity, and sustainability across the arts sector. Our annual curated SummerWorks Performance Festival, which takes place each August, invites thought-provoking ideas, presenting artistic work from across Canada and beyond, becoming a vital and necessary platform for the presentation of new work from independent performance-based artists.
