Fat Inclusive Chair Rentals
Include fat people in your audience!
The AMY Project is dedicated to creating theatre, performance and community that is inclusive and as accessible as possible. Fatness is often excluded from discussions on accessibility, intersectionality and inclusion. Many fat people aren’t able to or choose not to attend theatre due to the size of the seats provided by the venue. AMY is excited to be able to offer fat-inclusive seating for rental to interested venues or presenting companies who would like to ensure that people of all sizes can experience theatre with comfort.
The fee’s we charge for rental of these chairs goes directly back into funding Fat Fables, a creation and performance program for 2sLGBTQIA+ fat folks.
